Over 150 girls from schools across the county joined us to take part in a range of interactive sessions designed to excite their interest in engineering as a career. Many thanks to Humphry Davy School, Mullion School, Sir James Smith's Community School, Mounts Bay Academy, Redruth School, The Roseland Community College, Truro School Community, Falmouth School, Penryn College and Richard Lander School for taking part.
To help them discover the many opportunities on offer, representatives from a number of different businesses and organisations were on hand to chat about their own experiences and demonstrate what their jobs involved. A huge thank you to Whiskerstay, BRE National Solar Centre, ZLC Energy,Cormac, RAF Reserves, Institution of Civil Engineers, the Roseland Observatory, University of Exeterand INTECSEA for making this event possible.
